Maker Space Lab

Step into a world where creativity and STEM collide! In this Maker Space Lab, young inventors engage in hands-on exploration, applying principles from science, technology, engineering, and math to transform everyday materials, found objects, and the wide array of our Maker Space Lab materials into innovative creations. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities for experimentation—no two Maker Spaces are ever the same, in an environment where we strive to make anything is possible. Through collaboration, inquiry, and design-thinking, campers will bring their ideas to life—whether constructing functional prototypes, designing artistic installations, or engineering creative solutions. Along the way, they’ll refine problem-solving skills, build meaningful connections, and develop a deeper understanding of how innovation shapes the world around them.

On the last afternoon of camp, caregivers, friends, and family are invited to The Big Reveal: A Creative Lab Showcase, to tour the campers' creations, the result of a week of exploring, curiosity and collaboration.

Arts & Innovation Lab

Dive into the world of creative expression where every project begins with a question: What can I create? Through inquiry-based exploration, campers will experiment with pottery, painting, jewelry-making, puppetry, and unexpected artistic challenges. They'll investigate materials, test techniques, and discover new ways to bring their ideas to life. With a focus on hands-on discovery and collaboration, this camp encourages curiosity and innovation. Perfect for budding makers and artists who love to explore, every day offers new opportunities to create, learn, and share. Campers will leave with unique creations—and a spark of inspiration that lasts long after the week is over. On the last afternoon of camp, caregivers, friends, and family are invited to The Big Reveal: A Creative Lab Showcase, to tour the campers' creations, the result of a week of exploring, curiosity and collaboration.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Land

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
